Gonks are for Easter, not just for Christmas!
I had no idea what a Gonk was until last Christmas and they were EVERYWHERE. I have to admit I do find them really cute and bought some Gonk Christmas bedding for my 11 year old daughter and got both my kids microwave heat toys. I should have bought one for myself as they are so soft and warm but I have a puppy that sees Gonks as things to destroy 😂.
I had been trying to find out what a Gonk is and where they originate from but the information seems to be all over the place, some say they are Scandinavian Santa Clauses that would cause mischief if the family they were with weren't good or nice enough, I feel they are like the original naughty Elves buy way more loveable, some say they come from Scotland, some say they are Christmas decorations and some say this is false and they are meant to be goblins! Whatever the back story they are here now and very popular.
I am so curious as to what you get in these eggs! There is a surprise gift in each of the three eggs that you get with the mini Gonks but no clues as to what the gift could be, I'll be honest, I suspect it's something very small and cheap but it's still fun isn't it!

Not all children like to have chocolate and get so much of it at Easter , these soft toys will last forever and are good for all ages. Most Easter eggs are so expensive now too, I'd rather get something that will last and be remembered for more than a few days after Easter! I absolutely love these light up ones they would be a perfect for a child’s room or even on the fireplace in the living room. No idea why they are so cute, it is unusual to like something that doesn't even have any eyes, I guess the little button noses make up for that and the fluffy beards.

If you’re like me and love anything spooky then these are a great alternative to the usual pastel coloured Gonks, even though I have a huge fear of spiders I always find the carton type ones adorable and look at the feet, very similar to Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. They also have a dim light inside the main body of them for a nice soft glow.
